Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Zahedur Rahman on Monday distributed laptops among the 12 freelancers in Pirojpur town.
The laptops were distributed under the initiative of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division for their successful completion of training under the government's Learning and Earning Development project.
The programme was held at Shaheed Abdur Razzak-Saif Mizan Memorial Auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner's conference room this morning with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ICT and Education) Md Salim Hossain in the chair.
DC said that these laptops were distributed with the aim to implement Vision-2041 and build a smart Bangladesh by creating skilled human resources in technology.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad Saidur Rahman and Executive Engineer of the Roads and Highways Department Tanveer Ahmed, among others, were present as the special guests.
