Recently, a MoU signing ceremony was organized by LankaBangla Foundation at Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital near Uttara, Dhaka.
Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director & CEO of LankaBangla Finance Limited and Al Hajj Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Chairman of Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital along with the Managing Director of the hospital and a renowned oncologist Prof. Dr. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury (MBBS, FCPS, DMRT) signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Through this agreement, a well-equipped dialysis center will be set up in the hospital for the treatment of kidney patients and LankaBangla Foundation will provide a total grant of Tk. 1.29 crore to the Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital for the establishment of this dialysis center.
Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director & CEO of LankaBangla Finance said, "Since the beginning, LankaBangla Foundation has been working unitedly with various institutions to serve the society with the aim of improving socio-economic conditions, health and environment of the country. "
Also, the Chairman of Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital, Al Hajj Kazi Rafiqul Alam said, "Ahsania Mission's target is to establish a world-class healthcare center to serve all categories of people in need of cancer treatment on one hand and help save valuable foreign exchange on the other hand."
