Language veteran Golam Sarwar dies

Language veteran AGolam Sarwar Khan, senior presidium member of  Bangladesh National Awami Party (Bangladesh NAP) and close follower of country’s legendary leader Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani Mashiur Rahman, is no more. He was 85. 

He died of old-age complications at his residence at Sayedabad area in the captail on Wednesday (April 15).  He is survived by four sons, three daughters, 20 grandchildren and host of relatives and well-wishers.  He was buried at his family graveyard at Daudpur village under Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar.

Chairman of Bangladesh NAP Chairman Jebel Rahman Ghaani and the party’s Secretary General M Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan expressed deep shock at the death the their party leader. In a condolence message, the two leaders recalled the contribution of Golam Sarwar Khan.
