Language hero Musa Mia Chess League starts in Jhenaidah

Language hero Musa Mia Chess League was inaugurated in Jhenaidah district. Organized by Jhenaidah district police and district sports association (DSA), the chess league was inaugurated at Bir Shreshtha Hamidur Rahman stadium on Wednesday morning with the assistance of voluntary organization Zahedi Foundation.

Presided over by upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) SM Shahin, deputy commissioner (DC) Mozibor Rahman attended as chief guest. Superintendent of police (SP) Muntasirul Islam, Zahedi Foundation executive member Qayum Shahrier Zahedi Hizol attended as special guests.  Conducted by district information officer (DIO) Abu Bakar Siddique, the guest inaugurated the even releasing balloons in the sky. The organizers said the first round of the competition will continue from 10 am to 1 pm and second round from 2 pm to 5pm till October 23. A total of 72 fresh and skill participants will participate in the chess competition.
