Bangladesh pace bowling coach Charl Langeveldt said on Saturday (August 31) that his side will miss the services of Mustafizur Rahman in the one-off Test against Afghanistan, but insisted that the non-inclusion of the fast bowler was precautionary given the glut of white-ball cricket in the offing for the team, report agencies.

Langeveldt said that he is looking forward to working with the team's pace bowlers, especially Taskin Ahmed, who returned to the squad following an impressive show in Dr. K Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament in India and then recently in the intra-squad practice game.

"Yeah I was excited to be at the match [practice match] just for him as he is coming after a long injury layoff. With the bowling he was back but he struggled a bit with the second new ball back and that is because he has not played a lot of cricket," said Langeveldt.
