Over the last years the incumbent government has taken a number of initiatives to provide more efficient and transparent land services to the common people. As a part of the government's initiatives, an effective information system will be developed for land service automation system to ease the process of land service. A functional and complete land service list based on clusters and groups is being prepared by cancelling duplicate and unnecessarily separate listed services and by including necessary new services while reviewing more than 200 different types of land services.

We hope when implemented these services will help make our land sector more vibrant and give common people more access to land related solutions. The government should also build a fully automated service so that land owners and buyers have to roam around in various government offices regarding official documents. In that automation all the necessary services should be uploaded to a central database.
Land record maintenance is one of the most critical areas and it should enter the digitalisation phase. The need for land records to be digitalised cannot be more exaggerated as it is the area which is infamous for countless proceedings and bitter enmities even between families. Therefore, to make a smooth land digitalisation transition we can use similar software used by other countries who went through the same phase.
