Legendary Lalon singer Farida Parveen is a loved by all music lovers. CloseUp1 star Beauty also won the hearts of the audience by singing Lalon songs. Now, these two Lalon stars are all set to perform on the same stage.
‘Arshi Nagar’, a special concert, is being organized for broadcast on Bangladesh Television (BTV) to mark Lalon Shah’s 129th death anniversary. Farida Parveen will perform with Beauty on stage on this occasion.
Farida Parveen sang the song 'Sotyo Bol Shupothe Chol' produced by Mahbuba Ferdous. Beauty sang ‘Manush Guru Nishtha Jar’.
According to Beauty, this was a memorable time in her career. She feels honoured to work with the person who was her idol from the beginning of her music career.
She said, ‘Respected Farida Parveen madam is the reason I was interested and inspired to sing Lalon songs.
My childhood dreams came true thanks to her support and blessings. When she placed her hand on my head and said that it was my responsibility to convey the message of humanity through the songs of Lalon Saiji, I was filled with pride. This has been the greatest achievement of my music career.’
Farida Parveen said, ‘I want to thank Beauty for her wonderful performance in the programme. We had a great time working together as we are both singers of the same genre.
