A beautiful lake has recently been dredged there with beautification. The people are now coming to enjoy the scenic view of the canal and natural beauty around it.
The colorful lights, beautiful concrete structures, lake and waterfronts will must draw the attention of people and take them to a world of fantasy. Such view is very rare to see in the busy city life.
The residents of the area expressed their satisfaction and they also thanked the authorities concerned for this beautiful lake. People often visit the place with their family members and friends to spend quality time at the lakeside.
Tahmid Nafi, a high school goer said “Earlier I used to pass my leisure time watching TV and playing video games as there was no playgrounds or park near to my home. But now I can go to the lake for relaxation. The beauty of the lake and around the lake is mesmerizing.”
Another resident of Nikunja, Orpita Ahmed, said that the lake is magnificent. I am very glad to get such a place to visit with my family members near to my residence."
A group of people were seen taking photographs in front of the lake.
The residents of Nikunja expressed their fear saying that a proper management is needed to keep the lake clean. Otherwise it might turn as a dirty and polluted place such as other public places of the city.
