A Dhaka court on Saturday issued summons against Nobel laureate Dr. Yunus in three cases filed by three employees of Grameen Communications separately on charges of terminating them from service.
The third Labour Court summoned him to appear before it on October 8.
Besides, the court also issued summons against Managing Director Nazneen Sultana and Deputy General Manager Khandaker Abu Abedin to appear before the court on the same date.
The petitioners of the cases Emranul Haq, Shah Alam and Abdus Salam confirmed it that they filed three separate cases on July 3, against three persons including Yunus.
