More than one hundred saplings of Orange and Malta were distributed to the students of Shishu Niketon School from Kurigram District Police in Kurigram on Monday.
This operation of Kurigram police will continue as the previous year with the motto “Shabuj Kori Kurigram” or “Let’s make Kurigram green”. Kurigram District Police distributed around 40 thousand saplings in 2023 under this programme.
Police Superintendent of Kurigram Al Asad M Mahfujul Islam, Kurigram Shishu Niketon School Principal Protima Choudhury, Kurigram Police Station Officer-in-Charge M Masudur Rahman, among others were present at the distribution programme.
At the programme, Police Superintendent of Kurigram Al Asad M Mahfujul Islam said we distributed around 40 thousand saplings among the people of different walks in 2023. Today’s sapling distribution among the student of this school is a part of our continuous process which will be carried on in future as well.
