Legendary singer Kumar Bishwajit’s new song ‘Nibir Opekkha Korche’ was released on Thursday. The song has been composed by Kishore Das while its lyrics have been written by Hasanuzzaman Masum.
The song has been made for Kumar Bishwajit’s only son Kumar Nibir, who was seriously injured in a road accident in Canada and has been undergoing treatment in Toronto for nearly a year now.
A few lyrics of the song are “Bristy Ekhon ar Bhalo lage na, Kannar Shobdo Mone Hoy; Meghla Akash Kemon Jeno, Bedonar Chadore Dheke Roy.”
About the song, Kumar Bishwajit said, “First of all, I don’t want to call it a song. It is the urge of a father. I never thought I would sing again
after the tragic accident of
Nibir and his classmates.
In between I went to Dhaka
for a few days. Then Kishore and Masum repeatedly requested to sing a song. After listening to the song I felt the lyrics are the pain of my heart, what I couldn’t take out. After singing the song my pain reduced a little bit.” The music video for the song has been directed by Shahriar Palak. Under the banner of Platform Entertainment, the song will be released on YouTube and Facebook.
