Khulna University welcomed spring on the first day of Bengali month ‘Falgun’ on Friday amid festive activities. The day was observed on campus on the initiative of KU Bangla Discipline.
On the occasion a colourful rally was brought out on campus from the forepart of Poet Jibanananda Das Academic Building in the morning. The rally led by KU Arts and Humanities School Dean Bangla Discipline Head Prof Dr Sheikh Md Razikul Islam ended at ‘Adamya Bangla’ premises after parading the campus.
Following the rally an entertaining cultural ceremony was held in front of ‘Adamya Bangla’ in the morning. Apart from this, another cultural program was held at the same place in the afternoon. Based of Munier Choudhury’s drama ‘Kabar’, ‘Nashto Chele’ and ‘Manush’ a drama tittled ‘Ei Din Shei Shomoy’ was performed at the time.
