With a major release coming up, Kriti Sanon is busy juggling different things. The actress, who stars in the upcoming ‘Housefull 4’, which is headlined by Akshay Kumar and also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda, Chunky Pandey, Rana Daggubati and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is excited to be a part of the popular franchise.

The film’s promotional activities will commence soon and Kriti is currently completing her dubbing. In a recent interaction, she spoke about the flak that the film’s song ‘Ek Chumma’ has garnered from audiences. Several people have said that the song has sexist tones.

Kriti said that the film has a reincarnation twist that audiences will enjoy and that she had fun shooting for it. She admitted that she wanted to do different roles, which meant catering to different audiences, which is why she had chosen this particular film. She added that she was glad to share screen space with such talented people and that working with Akshay was a blast, considering he has a good sense of humour.

Talking about the criticism the film’s song has received, Kriti said that she didn’t believe that song was regressive because the male leads were saying those lines to their partner, and not to strangers. She said that had she felt the song was disrespectful towards women, she would have voiced her concern.

Kriti also said that she is extra careful when it comes to her scenes and dialogues because she doesn’t want to offend anyone. Calling herself a responsible actress, she revealed she would never want a wrong message to go out through any particular scene or film.        —Times of India
