Krishak League leaders and activists picked soybeans for a farmer in his field in Laxmipur on Friday. Traveling about 20 km inaccessible road they picked the soybean in Amjad Hossain’s field at Char Ramanimohan area of Sadar Upazila. Hizbul Bahar Rana, General Secretary of District Krishka League unit led about 50 activists of the party to pick the soybean of farmer Amjad Hossain.

Nizam Patwari, vice-president of the district Krishka League unit, Hasanuzzaman Mashum, fisheries and animal resources secretary, Firoz Uddin, cottage industry secretary, Raju Ahmed, municipal joint president Mostafizur Rahman and Zahirul Islam Tito, among others, assisted him in the soybean picking.

At this time, they voluntarily picked soybean from about one acre of land.

Amjad said workers could not be found due to corona crisis. At this moment, the members of Krishak League picked soybeans from the field free of cost.

At one point some soybeans were ground into the machine. This has saved the wages of about eight thousand workers.  In this regard, Hizbul Rana said, "It is the job of my party to stand by the side of the farmers.

If more is needed we will move forward to help other farmers as well. Due to the deadly corona virus, farmer Amjad could not pick soybean in his field for the lack of skilled workers. Farmer Amjad is happy to be able to bring soybeans home with the help of Krishak League.
