Krishi Joddha Tara Bhai receives grant from PM

Prominent poet, lyricist, Bangladesh Radio and Television listed singer Syed Nurul Awal (Taramia) has received a one-time grant of Tk 5 lakh from the Prime Minister's Special Welfare Fund.Being an agricultural fighter and entrepreneur, the people of Kishoreganj are overwhelmed by the Prime Minister's love for an enlightened person.

It is learned that after the Prime Minister got to know the severe health condition of Syed Nurul Awal, he was received a grant from the personal relief and welfare fund.

Kishoreganj Municipality Mayor Md. Parvez Mia, Social Worker Captain Salauddin Ahmed Selu, Journalist Sajan Ahmed Papon and others were present when a one-time check of Tk 5 lakh from the Prime Minister's Special Welfare Fund was handed over.

It is to be mentioned that Syed Nurul Awal (Taramia) has received Bangabandhu National Award 4 times for writing and promoting agricultural songs and poems. He has written more than 5,000 songs and poems on agriculture, fisheries, animals, environment, social issues and biodiversity. This son of the historical Boulai Pir Saheb Bari of Kishoreganj District Sadar is a subordinate of Syed Tajuddin (R), one of the traveling companions of Hazrat Shahjalal (R).

On behalf of the artist's family, his only son Syed Yasin said, “We are happy with the cooperation of the state. At one time, my father dedicated his life for the country.In this way, if we evaluate the talented people lying in different parts of the country, the spread of art literature in the country will definitely increase.I am very grateful to all the media outlets that have written about my father's illness.”
