The Bangladeshi short film 'Lottery' has been awarded at the Kolkata International Cult Film Festival. It was directed by young directed KM Konok.
It is learned that the film has won the award in the Outstanding Achievement category of the festival. Earlier, the film took part in the first director category at the UK-based international organization Lift-Off Global Network Festival.
How a lottery ticket affects the friendship of two friends and brings a new twist in their lives. The film is made with such a story. It starred Iqbal Hossain, Redwan Chowdhury Shanto, Enayet Hossain Samir, Samia Akhter Brishti, Raihan Ishtiaq Sonnet, Pabel Gomez, Souvik, Miraj Bullet.
Director Kanak said, “The experience of making this short film was great. I didn’t think we will see such success in our first production.
This recognition of the first work has inspired me to go a long way. So I want to stay with film in the coming days.”
