The Roads and Highways Department (RHD) has been spraying antibacterial drugs at various places in Kishoreganj Sadar upazila since April 4 to prevent the coronavirus.
A total of 7 thousand litres of water are being sprayed by water tankers every morning and afternoon. The work is being done under the guidance of Executive Engineer of RHD Md Rashedul Alam and supervision of Deputy Assistant Engineer Md. Shafiqul Islam.
Md. Shafiqul Islam said that the antibacterial drugs are being sprayed to keep the main roads and surrounding environment disinfected. Md. Rashedul Alam said, the programme would continue regularly to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus.
