In 1965, a horticulture center was established on around 12 acre of land at Gaital area of Kishoreganj district. Meanwhile, this center is facing serious obstacles. Different crisis do not spare the center. After surveying this area, it was found that shortage of drainage system water accumulated the area.
Water logging causes hundreds of trees to be wasted. Pond's side of this area have already been broken. Nobody can't stop the movement of wicked. Administration didn't take any initiative according this issue. According to horticulture center, former deputy-director Md Alamin informed the matter to the Honorable President. Litchi type of mother garden has established in there.
Financial crisis make the development progress slowing. Plant theorist of horticulture center Joynul Alom Talukder said if the water logging area covered by soil the revenue income will be raised.
