The play 'Kinu Kaharer Thetar' will be staged at the Porikhon theatre of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7pm today. Kazi Toufiqul Islam Emon directed the play written by Manoj Mitra.
Sanjida Preeti, Jagnmay Pal, Chetona Rahman Bhasha, Monirul Islam Rubel, Mitul Rahman, Hira Chowdhury, Shahriar Ferdous Sajib, Rafiqul Islam, Rifat Ahmed Nobel, Shahin Saidur, Tanjikun will play the various roles of the drama.
The vizier of Putna raped a woman. Lat Saheb said, "If this is not punished, I will throw away my throne." The king fell into great distress. The vizier is his closest friend. How could he fourteen lashes to be given to him?
The vizier told the king to find a man who would testify in the court that he is the culprit not the vizier. Thus goes the story of the drama. It is the 15th production of the Pracchyonat theatre group.
