After a big blow in the first match and a solitary goal survival the reigning champions Bashundhara Kings will play their third match in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League Football at Shahid Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium, Tongi on Saturday.
One of the big powerhouses in the domestic football Bashundhara, who won five titles including two league trophies, as Federation Cup and a Independence Cup (2018-19, 2021, the 2019-20 season was postponed due to outbreak of COVID) outshining the all traditional giants, beheld almost as indomitable in the last three seasons since their appearance in 2017-18.
But the heavyweights not looked in their real character as they yet to demonstrate their best to comply with their recognition when they failed to win the season’s opener Independence Cup, did not play the Federation Cup excusing the unplayable turf of the Komlapur Stadium.
