Adviser to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, AFM Khalid Hossain said that no one will be spared for the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif.

The Adviser came up with the assertion while speaking to the media after visiting Saiful Islam's grave in Lohagara, Chattogram, on Friday morning.

He said that those who are responsible for the murder of Saiful Islam will not be shown any mercy. The perpetrators will be identified and exemplary punishment will be ensured.

He added that a domestic and international group is actively trying to put the current government in a difficult situation. He stressed the need to remain vigilant to prevent any disruption of internal harmony, peace, and order in the country.

He further stated that it is crucial to stay alert against rumors at all costs.

Adviser of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Professor Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, was also present at that time. Later, the two advisers met with the family members of Saiful Islam and handed over a financial assistance check.

Earlier, on Tuesday (November 26), following the rejection of the bail of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, his followers protested at the court premises. During the clashes, lawyer Saiful Islam Alif was caught in the midst of the violence and was killed as a result.
