Chattogram Challeners and Khulna Tigers will fight in the eliminator phase to move into the qualifiers round in the Bangabandhu BPL cricket today.
The match will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur at 12:30 pm.
In the group stage matches both the Khulna Tigers and Chottagram Challengers won five matches and conceded as many defeats and earned equal 10 points each to qualify in the eliminators round, so it would be a closely contested match.
Khulna Tigers, who were under huge threat to have goodbye from the group stage before to face Cumilla Victorians in their last match of the first round. But outstanding batting from the opening pair Andre Fletcher and Mehdi Hassan just outplayed the star-studded Cumilla.to seal the victory of the do or die match.

Andre Fletcher, who remained unbeaten with a rapid 101 runs off 62 balls, outshined the 101 knock of Faf du Plessis, captain of Cumilla and Mehdi Hassan accompanied Fletcher with 74 off 49 balls to lift Khulna to eliminating stage.
However, it can be predicted that Khulna will not look back to keep up the momentum of their outstanding victory in the crucial match.
For Chottagram Challengers, Will Jacks, Chad Walton and Afif Hossain might be the vital with the bat when Andre Fletcher, Mehdi Hassan and Mushfiqur Rahim would emerge as the strong counterparts.
Will Jack and Afif Hossain of Chottagram are among the top run getters with 398 and 219 runs from their 10 matches when Andre Fletcher and Mushfiqur Rahim are two notable scorers for Khulna with 330 and 208 runs respectively.
Thisara Perea of Khulna has the ability to destroy any batting powers when the Sri Lankan is one the five top bowlers with taking 13 wickets and Mrintonjoy Chowdhury of Chottagram could also turn into danger against any batting attacks when he also has 13 wickets to be among the top five wicket takers.
