Twenty oxygen cylinders have been provided to Khagrachhari Modern District Sadar Hospital under Covid-19 situation on private initiative. The cylinders were distributed with the help of Khagrachhari Hill District Council member and Awami League leader Mongsapru Chowdhury Apu.
Kujendra Lal Tripura, local MP and chairman of the Refugee Rehabilitation Task Force, handed over the cylinders to Civil Surgeon Dr Nupur Kanti Das at the District Sadar Hospital at noon.
At the time, the MP praised such initiatives, saying the distribution of cylinders at the hospital was very important in the Corona crisis. Everyone should work for the prevention of corona from their respective positions along with awareness calling for compliance with government guidelines for corona prevention.
Besides, MP Kujendra Lal Tripura promised to provide all kinds of support to the hospital authorities to avoid any kind of risk in health services.
