‘Kathbirali’ premieres under open sky

Not in the midst of lightning fast flashes of cameras or a rolled out red carpet, rather, the premier show of ‘Kathbirali’ took place under the open sky. The premiere of the movie was screened in a remote area. The stars of the film were accompanied by a sky full of real stars. Hundreds of people overlook the winter in the fierce Konkan The purpose is to see only one picture.

The film 'Kathbirwali', produced by director Niyamul Mukta, premiered last night on December 23. It is fairly straightforward.The film premiered at a ground next to the director's house in Gazarmara village of Bhangura upazila on Friday night. 

Before the premiere, the director said that the people of this village had a lot of contribution in the making of the film. The whole film was shot in this village. They have cooperated wholeheartedly. That is why I wanted the people of the village to see the film first.

Also present at the premiere was the film's main character Orchita Sporshia. She said, “I did the whole shooting of the film in the village that is why there is a special bond between me and the people of the village. I know everyone now. I came out of Dhaka because of their love. I am fascinated by the love of everyone here.”

Bhangura Municipality Mayor Gulam Hasnain Rasel, Mandotosh union chairman Abdur Rashid, Upazila vice chairman Golam Hafiz Ranju, director Niamul Mukta's father Abdul Hameed Master appeared at the premiere of the film. Also present was Upazila female vice chairman Azida Parvin Pakhi.The 'Kathbirali' got released across the country on 27 December. 

The director himself wrote the story of 'Kathbirali’. Tasnimul Taj has written the screenplay. Orchita Sporshia and Asaduzzaman Abir played the lead roles in the film. The film also showcased Sayeed Zaman, Shahriar Ferdous, Shilpi Sarkar, Hindol Roy, AK Azad, Tanzina Rahman among others. The film is produced by Chilekotha Films.
