A business review meeting of regional managers and branch managers of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali and Laxmipurregions of Karmasangsthan Bank was held on Thursday at the Conference Room of Chattogram circuit house.
Kaniz Fatema NDC, Chairman of the board of directors of the Bank and former secretary of Bangladesh government was present as chief guest while Md. Tajul Islam, Managing Director of the bank was present as special guest. Deputy Managing Director Md. Abdul Mannan was present as guest of honour.Assistant General Manager Mohammad Khairul Hasan Sheikh presided over the meeting.
Reviewing the overall performances of the branches, the Managing Director directed the officials to take necessary action for achieving the remaining target within the stipulated time. The bank introduced Bangabandhu Jubo Rin (Bangabandhu Youth Loan), a loan program for the trained unemployed youth to observe the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The high officials highly emphasized the issue of disbursing Bangabandhu Jubo Rin for generating more self-employment opportunities of the unemployed youth of the country.
