Md. Sayedul Islam, Former Secretary of the government has been appointed as the Chairman of Karmasangsthan Bank.
He served Secretary in Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, Ministry of Shipping also Worked as a Councilor in Bangladesh High Commission, Malaysia for about five years.
During his career, he served with great reputation in various important positions at the secretariat and field level.
He passed the 10th BCS examination in administration cadre and started career as Assistant Commissioner Comilla Collectorate in 1991. During his tenure he received short and long term training in different countries.
He passed 1st class in SSC and HSC, then he graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh with B.Sc (Honours) 1st Class from Department of Agriculture in 2007 with Distinction in Master of Public Administration Policy from Australia.
