Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood queen will be seen as a national-level kabaddi player in her upcoming film ‘Panga’. In director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s film she is all set to portray the story of a national level Kabbadi player, her triumphs and struggle and how she overcomes stereotypes in her upcoming film 'Panga’.
Panga is based on the importance of family which also stars Punjabi singer Jassie Gill and actors like Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta.
After impressing the audience with her first two films ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Tiwari will be donning the director's hat for the third time for her film 'Panga.' The film which went on the floors exactly a year back is all set to hit the theatres soon. Ashwiny took to her social media handles to announce that the film will be released on January 24 next year.
Sharing a few stills from the sets of 'Panga', Ashwiny wrote, "1 year ago I started shooting Panga on a winter morning in a quiet lane of rustic Bhopal. A year later Panga releases on 24.01.20. I am eagerly waiting to share with you this inspiring journey of humane and funny anecdotes.”
About the film Kangana said, ''My family has been my pillar of strength and have always stood by me through thick and thin. I could really relate to the emotions of the film.”
On the work front, Kangana has ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ in her kitty which also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role.
