Upazila health department authority at Kaliganj in Jhenidah has been monitoring the awareness publicity following novel corona virus. Upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) has been leading the monitoring activities round the clock.
UHFPO office sources said they had set up hand washing system to sanitize the people rushing at the UHC for treatment and other works. They also use the hand washing during exit from the spot.
Nasin Ahmed and Mita Khatun, rushed at the UHC for treatment purposes when contacted said they had used the hand sanitizers to make their hands germ-free during entry and exit both. The cleanness will protect them from the possible attack of novel corona virus, they said.
Upazila health and family planning officer Dr. Shamima Shirin when contacted said as per the directives of the world health organization, as well as the health directorate, they have been advising the people to maintain all out cleanness. As a part of their activities they arranged publicity corner from where the people were given some important message to protect them from deadly corona virus.
The announcement said how to ensure primary treatment for fever, throat soaring, cold, cough, headache, chest complications, and other diseases. For any emergency the patients were advised to rush to the UHC, UHFPO informed.
