'Kadaikutty Singam' released on Bongo

South Indian film Kadaikutty Singam, aka Bagher Baccha, has been released on the Bangladesh's OTT platform 'Bongo'.

Kadaikutty Singham is the most personal project to date of South Indian Actor Karthi. The film is produced by his brother and South Superstar Suriya. The movie is about values that are very close to their heart: the Indian joint family.

It's the story of the youngest son Gunasingam (played by Karthi), who despite being the son of the landlord, still works as a farmer. He is proud of his profession. He is also a popular Cow Cart Racer of the region. 

His life revolves around his large family and relatives who he loves utterly. But when Gunasingam falls in love with village beauty Kannu Inniaala( played by Sayeesha Saigal ), and decides to marry her instead of one of his nieces, his family is very disappointed. 

His once carefree life is now very troublesome. Will Gunasignam decide to marry for his sake or for the wide benefit of his family? Watch this family entertainment blast Kadaikutty Singam, aka Bagher Baccha, on the country's foremost OTT platform 'Bongo'.

Director Pandiraj managed to star a battalion of finance actors and actresses for this film, including Sathyaraj, Soori, Sayyeshaa, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Arthana Binu Ponvannan, Bhanupriya, Viji Chandrashekar, Sriman, Soundararajan, Yuvarani, Mounika, Ilavarasu, Maarimuthu etc. Over well-known 20 supporting casts joined the movie production.

This blockbuster film got four award nominations & a big award win too. In 2019, the main protagonist of the film, Karthi, was nominated for best Tamil actor at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). 

Pandiraj was nominated in SIIMA for the position of best director in Tamil film Industry. Soori, another cast member of the film, won the SIIMA award as best Tamil comedian. Priya Bhavani Shankar was also nominated for best supporting actress in South Filmfare Awards.
