Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) ranks third among the public universities in the country in the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2022, which is recognized as one of the most important rankings in the world. With a score of 53.7, JUST ranked 801-1000 in the world  and ranked 9th among the public-private universities in Bangladesh.

The London-based Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2022 was announced on April 27. Among the public universities of the country, Dhaka University and Bangladesh Agricultural University are above JUST. A total of 12 universities of the country have taken place in this list. However, among the public-private universities in the country, BRAC University is number one in the THE Impact Rankings 2022.

In this regard, JUST Impact Ranking Committee Member Secretary and Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Dr. Mehdi Hassan said, The rankings are based on 17 factors for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Day by day Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) is moving forward to meet these 17 targets, further development will be possible in the coming days. He said that JUST's position in the QS World University Rankings will be known next month. With the combination of these two rankings, we will be able to know the position of JUST in the world rankings next year.

In this regard, Jashore University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain said, JUST is reaching a good position not only in Bangladesh but also in the world. As a new university we don't have much, we are working to fill them. As a university, it has to have some international laws, and JUST is also working on them. When the Student-Teacher Center (TSC) is launched, the activities of the students will increase further, which will have an impact on the world rankings. However, in recent years we have made the most progress in research. Teachers and students of this university will go further in research. If the JUST family works together, I hope Jashore University of Science and Technology will emerge as the best university in Bangladesh in the next three years.
