The Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) authorities confirmed twelve new coronavirus positive cases on Thursday noon. Dr Iqbal Kabir Jahid Chairman of Microbiology Department, University of Science and Technology confirmed the new coronavirus positive cases.
“Among the new corona patients, six are of Chuadanga district, two are of Kushtia district , one is of Meherpur district, one is of Magura district and two are of Jashore district” he said. Dr Jahid said they tested 204 samples from seven districts at their Genome Centre lab in the last 24 hours till Thursday noon.
Corona Samples mostly from the districts under Khulna division have been tested at the University of Science and Technology lab for the last six days. All the districts of Khulna division confirmed Corona virus cases but Jhenaidah district is exceptional .
