Julio Cesar coming to Dhaka on Jan 22

Former Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar will come to Dhaka for a two-day trip next week as a FIFA ambassador for the Bangabandhu Gold Cup, Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin informed today, report agenies.

The 40-year-old retired goalkeeper, who played for Brazil 87 times and won one Copa America and two Confederations Cup titles, will arrive in Dhaka on January 22 and leave the capital on the following day.

As a FIFA ambassador, Cesar will meet the BFF officials, hold a session with female players as well as with young footballers at the BFF academy, Salahuddin told reporters. 

The former Inter Milan goalkeeper will pay homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32 and watch the second semifinal of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup on January 23, before leaving Dhaka in the night.
