Jahangirnagar University Debate Organization (JUDO) formed a new executive committee on Saturday for the next one year.
Farhan Anjum Karim of the Government and Politics department and Zillal Hossain Sourav of History department of the university were made president and general secretary respectively, said a press release.
Former JUDO president Saimum Mausumi Brishti announced the new executive committee at the concluding session of the 16th founding anniversary celebration programme at the university’s Selim Al Deen Muktamancha.
The other office bearers are vice-president Nur Hossain Bindu, Taposi Dey Prapti, Jafar Imam, joint secretary Monika Yeasmin, Ratul Hasan and Sabuj Ahmed, organizing secretary Nirbachita Chakraborty, assistant organizing secretary Mazhar Tahmid, programme secretary Jahidul Islam, treasurer Sazzadul Islam Nakeeb, office secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed, publication secretary K M Meherab Hossain, education and research secretary Farim Ahsan, information and communication secretary Redwan Ahmed, media secretary Jahid Iqbal Nabil.
Other three executive members of JUDO are- Sahara Akter, Lamia Islam and Abu Tawhid Md Siam.
