The annual Judicial Departmental Conference of Cox's Bazaar District Judgeship and Magistracy was held at the conference room of Cox's Bazaar district Judge's Court on Saturday morning.
Khondker Hasan Mohammd Feroz, District and Session Judge of Cox's Bazaar, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. Conducted by Delowar Hossain Shamim, Senior Judicial Magistrate and Executive Member of the organising committee, the conference entitled," Dos on resolving prevailing problems of cases at the civil and the criminal courts under Cox's Bazaar Judgeship" was addressed, among others by Mahmudul Hasan, Joint District and the Session Judge-2 of Cox's Bazaar, Zebun Naher Ayesha, Judge of Women and Child repression repeal Tribunal-2, Alhaj Toufique Aziz, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Abu Taher, Additional District and Session Judge, Syed Muhammad Fakhrul Abedin, Joint District Judge and Session Judge and Convener of conference committee, Abdul Matin, Civil Surgeon, Shahjahan Ali, Additional Deputy Magistrate, Iqbal Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajib Kumar Biswas, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mahbub Morshed, former Additional District and Session Judge, Dr. Abdul Matin, Superintendent of district Sadar Hospital, Shahin Abdur Rahman, Resident Medical Officer, Mokammel Hossain, Superintendent of Cox's Bazaar district Jail, Humayun Kabir, DFO( South), Rajib Kumar Deve, Senior Judicial Magistrate, Helal Uddin, Senior Judicial Magistrate, Moitree Bhattacharya, Senior Assistant Judge and district Legal Aid Officer, Jerin Sultana, Senior Assistant Judge, Khairunnessa, Senior Assistant Judge, Fahmida Akhter, Rezaul Haque, Judicial Magistrate, Ziaul Haque, Advocate Serajul Mostafa, former President of district Lawyers' Association, AZM Moin Uddin, President of district Lawyers' Association, GP Mohammad Ishaque, and Special PP Nurul Islam.
Khondker Hasan Mohammd Feroz, District and Session Judge of Cox's Bazaar and the chief guest of the conference said, the Judicial Departmental Conference would play a significant role in preparing recommendations on the overall condition of the judicial system, identifying problems of the Judiciary and the dos to resolve the problems. The conference will also ensure the overall transparency and accountability of the Judiciary. After all, the departmental judiciary conference will play a supporting role in getting proper justice for the justice seekers and to implement the order of judgment properly.
SS Abbas Uddin, Administrative Officer of District Judge's Court was in charge of managing the overall function while the function was inaugurated with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Imam Maulana Abu Taher and the Pradip Kumar Chakravarty recited from the Holy Geeta.
