Awami Jubo League leaders and activists of Jhenaidah district unit distributed Eid gifts among especially needy students in Jhenaidah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday morning.
All the 50 students belong to Ekota Unnayan Sangathan, a voluntary organization in the town. Joint Convener of Jhenaidah Jubo League Shafiqul Islam Shimul distributed the items.
The students received clothing, rice, vermicelli, sugar and some other Eid items at the time. Former relief and employment affair secretary of Jhenaidah Jubo League Jamal Uddin, activists Abul Kashem Shanata, Real Parvez Jiban, Tamajid Ahmed, Ekota Unnayan Sangathan president Shahina Akter, chief executive Suman Parvez among others were present there.
During the distribution Juba League leader Shafiqul Islam Shimul said being advised by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina under the guidance of JL chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Tapash and general secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, the JL activists have been standing beside distressed people.
