A jubilant procession and discussion meeting were held in Sherpur on the occasion of Homecoming Day of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday. Sadar Upazila Administration organized the event while Upazila Chairman Md Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest of this jubilant procession. Later, the procession ended at the playground of Municipal Park and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Feroj Al Mamoon presided over the discussion meeting.
At that time, woman vice-chairman Sabiha Zaman Shapla, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Abdullah Al Mamun along with others were also present.
