Leaders and activists of Juba League, the front youth body of ruling Awami League harvested paddy of a poor farmer in a remote village in Jhenaidah on Wednesday.
The paddy was harvested from 90 decimals of land of farmer Afzal Hossain Mandal of Darigabindapur village in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila.
Juba League leader Hasibur Rahman Shipon said he along with Shanta Joarder and 18 others harvested paddy of the farmer as per guidelines of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Further, it is also a motive of the Juba League to stand by the needy and innocent people. Farmer Afzal Hossain Mandal expressed his gratitude to the Juba League men and Prime Minister when he was worried about harvesting of ripen paddy from his land.
