The final round of the competition took place recently at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. The event was organised by the Control of Certifying Authority (CCA) under the Government’s Information and Communication Technology Division.

A total of 60 teams from different public and private universities took part in the competition. In the final round, Triptych outperformed other top teams to claim the champion’s trophy.

Professor Dr Mohammad Zahidur Rahman of the JU CSE Department presented the keynote paper at the event. His presentation focused on the importance of cybersecurity awareness and the need for skilled professionals in the growing digital landscape of Bangladesh.

Following the team’s success, Jahangirnagar University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan congratulated the winners. In a message issued on Sunday, he expressed his joy over the achievement, saying that it has brought pride and honour to the university.

The VC also said this victory reflects the quality education and standard of research being maintained at JU, especially in the Computer Science and Engineering Department. He hoped that the department would continue its progress and further contribute to the field of information technology and cybersecurity in the country.
