The results of the first-year "A" unit admission exam for the Bachelor (Honors) class for the 2023–2024 academic year have been released by Jahangirnagar University (JU).
The result was published on the university website at midnight on Thursday.
A separate merit list for male and female students is published in the result. Earlier, the admission test was conducted in different shifts from morning to afternoon on Thursday.
A total of 33 thousand 705 male and 16 thousand 711 female students applied against 446 seats in the 'A' unit. The examination of the C-1 Unit (Drama and Playwriting Department and Fine Arts Department) will be held on February 25 at 9 am in the first shift.
The C Unit (Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Bangabandhu Comparative Literature and Culture Institute) examination will begin at 5:40 pm on the same day at 10:25 am on the second shift. There were 1,895 male applicants and 2,334 female applicants for the 32 male and 32 female student seats in the "C-1" unit. The number of seats in the 'C' unit is 194 for boys and 194 for girls. In contrast, the number of applicants is 18 thousand 66 male students and 21 thousand 779 female students.
