The sixth convocation of Jahangirnagar University (JU) will be held on February 25. The Ministry of Education on Monday has issued a notification in this regard. JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Nurul Alam confirmed the matter to the Bangladesh Post.
The notification signed by senior assistant secretary of Ministry of Education Shatrupa Talukdar said that in view of the appropriate subject and the letter of reference, the sixth convocation of Jahangirnagar University can be held on February 25 at 3:30 in the afternoon. In such circumstances, instructions are requested to take further necessary action in this regard.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Nurul Alam said, the convocation is going to be held in JU after a long time. His Excellency the President has agreed to participate in the convocation on February 25.
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique will join as the convocation speaker, he added.
