Jashore Science and Technology University (JSTU) on Saturday morning confirmed the positive result of two corona virus patients in Jhenidah for the first time. One of them is female,’ said Jhenidah civil surgeon Dr. Salina Begum on the day.
Civil surgeon said they sent 29 samples to Jashore Science and Technology University for corona virus test on April 22. Of them they received the result of 19 wherein they found the results of a male and a female positive. The woman of Paglakanai area in Jhenidah municipal town returned from Dhaka on April 20, while the male one who belongs to Molladanga village of Kaliganj upazila returned from Faridpur a few days back.
Dr. Salina said that they took necessary measures about the detected duo immediately. It may mentioned that it was the first ever corona virus affected persons whose test results were found positive.
