Sarker Shariful Islam of Bangladesh Post and Rafiqul Hasan Feroz of the daily Observer have been elected the President and the General Secretary respectively of Rajshahi division Jatiya Sangbadik Sangstha(JSS) following the biennial conference of JSS, Rajshahi, held at its Rajshahi office of Upasahar on Saturday.
Other 27-elected executives of eight districts and nine upazilas of Rajshahi division are: Senior Vice President Abdul Nahid( Pabna), Vice-Presidents Rafique Alam( Rajshahi), Ekramul Haque( Sirajganj) and Kabir Hossain( Joypurhat), Joint Secretaries Salah Uddin( Natore) and Faisal Sahriar Ontu(Rajshahi), Organising Secretary Aminul Islam Bony(Rajshahi), Asstt Organising Secy Kamal Shukrana( Chapainwabganj, Treaurer Jasim Uddin( Rajshahi), Office Secy Ehsan Ali Tuhin(Rajshahi), Publicity Secy Rajib( Rajshahi), Public Welfare Secy Monjuara Khatun( Rajshahi), Training Secy Tarik Haider Mithu(Rajshahi), Sports Secy Afroza Khan Helen(Rajshahi),Executive members-Amir Faisal Samrat, Habibur Rahman Pappu, Mostafizur Rahman Rocky, Mahfuzur Rahman Rubel, Rafiqul Islam(Joypurhat), Jamirul Islam( Natore), Jamirul Islam(Natore), Al-Amin Mondol(Bogura), Sajedur Rahman Saju( Chapainawabganj), Md Rocky( Naogaon) and M Fazlul Haque Bablu( Bogura).
Presided over by the Election Commissioner of RSS, Rajshahi dist Mohammad Zulfiqur and conducted by President of RSS, Rajshahi dist Rafique Alam, the biennial conference of the JSS, Rajshahi div was attended, among others, by the Vice-President of JSS Central Executive Committee Alamgir Goni, Joint Secretary General of JSS Central comm Kamrul Islam, Assistant Secy Gen Abu Musa, former President of RSS, Rajshahi, Mustafizur Rahman Khan, President of Rajshahi Press Club Saidur Rahman and Editor( in charge) of daily Sonar Desh Akbarul Hasan Millat as special guests while Organising Secy of Central Comm Abdul Majid addressed the function as the chief speaker.
