While addressing at a civic reception accorded to her at Hilton Hotel in Geneva by expatriate Bangladeshis in Switzerland, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina again said country’s next national election will be held on time. Sheikh Hasina’s message is clear to all that Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and some elements will not get any benefit by giving threat to foil the elections as the polls will be held in due time as per the Constitution.

The Farther of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s daughter Sheikh Hasina does not bow down to any pressure and will not do it in future too.

The next general election in Bangladesh will be held in a free and fair manner upholding democracy and voting rights of the people.

We believe people will cast their vote in favour of the respective candidates in Bangladesh. The political parties which believe in democracy and peace and nurture the spirit and ideals of the Great Liberation War will contest next polls.

The next general

election in Bangladesh will be held in a

free and fair manner upholding

democracy and voting rights of  people

It is known to all AL is always an election-oriented democratic party, which believes in election to change the government. The party never used the backdoor for grabbing power; rather it always assumes state power through elections.

But, BNP wants to go to power in an illegal way as it was created in unlawful way. The BNP-Jamaat clique is an anti-state evil political force which was created at the blessings of a Pakistani intelligence agency.

Therefore, like in the past, the clique is plotting to return to power through the backdoor in the next elections.

The election is the best way for government changeover. Under the ruling AL, definitely election will be free and fair as the party has established and ensure people’s voting right. Those who think they can foil the next general elections and topple the government through some rallies are living in a fools’ paradise.
