The parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment today asked officials concerned to arrange job fair for women at upazila level to create job opportunities for them in the overseas market.
“In the meeting, the committee urged the ministry to take steps for organizing job fair at upazila level for the female workforce for ensuring their easy access to the foreign job market,” an official release said.
The 7th meeting of the committee was presided over by the committee’s chairman Anisul Islam Mahmud.Committee members Imran Ahmed, Professor M Ali Ashraf, Moazzem Hossain Ratan, Ayesha Ferdaus, Pankaj Nath, M Sader Khan and other concerned officers were present.
