Journalists play a tireless role in presenting the development activities of the country to the society, the newly joined Chairman of Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail said that journalists are the mirror of the society. All the activities of the officials are made public through journalists. Therefore, the importance of neutral and objective journalism is immense in building a developed nation. Good work should be encouraged by promoting development activities. If there is a mistake, there will be criticism but it should be constructive. Care must be taken to ensure that no news is published out of anger or anger under any circumstances. No personal resentment should be brought into the profession. He expressed the hope that we have a brotherly relationship with the journalist.
Stating that Chattogram port has been providing non-stop service for 2.5 thousand years, he said that the port is playing an important role in the development and service of the country. We hope that the range of services will increase in the coming days. Chattogram port will go further in economic development.
He said these things when the journalists working in Chattogram port-customs beat paid a courtesy meet and greeted him at the office of the newly joined chairman.

Its known that Rear Admiral M. Sohail was commissioned in the Executive Branch of the Bangladesh Navy on January 1, 1988. During his long service life, he served in various important positions in naval ships, bases and headquarters. Besides, he participated in various professional trainings at home and abroad with great merit and received the NUP Medal of the Navy. Mohammad Sohail was awarded the State Chastity Medal and Naval Commendation Medal for his outstanding service and contribution with integrity. He served with great distinction as Faculty (Directing Staff and Senior Instructor) of Defense Services Command and Staff College.
Rear Admiral M Sohail served as Director Legal and Media Wing of Elite Force RAB Headquarters. During his tenure at RAB headquarters, he was very active in the national media and contributed greatly to maintaining the law and order situation in the country. He was awarded the President's Police Medal (PPM) for his outstanding contribution. Apart from this, Mohammad Sohail served with distinction as Colonel GS in Counter Terrorism Intelligence Bureau (CTIB) and Internal Affairs Bureau (IAB) at DGFI Headquarters.
