Dramas, telefilms, films and songs are being made to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Now freedom fighter and filmmaker Noor Mohammad Moni has produced a special-length film. Its name is ‘Jonok O Shontan’. The story is written by Shoaib Chowdhury. Ferrari Farhad wrote the screenplay and dialogue.

Already the shooting of the film has been completed. Rani Ahad played the role of a Birangana and Ahsan Habib Nasim played the role of a teacher. Referring to the story of the film, Noor Mohammad Moni said, ‘The film is based on the story of a Birangona, who wants to meet Bangabandhu after the war. One day, news of her interest in seeing Bangabandhu was published in the newspaper. The teacher tried to help her meet Bangabandhu. But in the end, the Birangana does not meet him.'

Regarding acting in the film, Ahsan Habib Nasim said, ‘Thanks to Noor Mohammad Mani Bhai for giving me the opportunity to be involved in such a project. The film was produced in tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. Since this is a special movie, I have tried to make the character stand out. This is my first time acting with Rani Ahad. Rani has tried hard to portray the character well. ' Rani Ahad said, ‘I am fortunate to be associated with such a historic work. My sincere gratitude to everyone involved, including Moni Sir. This is the first time I have played the role of a respectable Birangana. I had a lot of trouble trying to portraythe character properly. At some point I was able to realize how difficult life was at that time, especially the life of a Birangana.’

Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Reshmi, Md Iqbal, Binoy Bhadra and others have acted in the film. The director said the film will be aired on a satellite channel.
