Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University (JnU) Prof Sadeka Halim paid a earnest visit to Al Amin, a law department student in the 18th batch who sustained injuries during the recent protests against quota reform. Al Amin is currently receiving treatment at Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital.
On Thursday, VC Halim arrived at the hospital to personally inquire about Al Amin's condition and offer her support. She extended her gratitude to the attending medical staff, urging them to provide the best possible care. The university is fully covering Al Amin’s medical expenses, demonstrating its commitment to student welfare during this challenging time.
Accompanying VC Halim during the visit were the university's proctor Prof Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, public relations director Md Tanveer Ahsan, and director of external activities, Dr Md Abdul Malek, among other university officials. The administration's efforts highlight its dedication to supporting students affected by the quota movement.
