Jisshu U Sengupta’s tryst with Bollywood continues. After Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, the actor will be seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, along with Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. Besides, Priyanka Bose and Akshay Anand have also been roped in to the film.
The production house revealed the news in a tweet. The tweet reads, “Intense times to come! @Jisshusengupta embarks on the journey of #Sadak2 & @MaheshNBhatt is all heart! @aliaa08 #AdityaRoyKapur @duttsanjay @PoojaB1972 #MukeshBhatt @foxstarhindi.”
Meanwhile, Pooja Bhatt, who played the lead in Sadak with Sanjay Dutt, too tweeted a photograph of the script that was given to Jisshu by Mahesh Bhatt. In her tweet, she wrote, “My father’s special message to @Jisshusengupta which he imprinted in his trademark ‘capital’ scrawl, on the script of #Sadak2 “In the heart of darkness there is light”. Indeed there is @MaheshNBhatt”.
Sadak 2 is sequel to the 1991 film Sadak, a commercially successful romantic thriller, which featured Pooja and Sanjay. According to industry sources, the film is scheduled for release on July 10, 2020.
