Jibannagar Health Complex gets oxygen cylinder

Australia Alumni Association Bangladesh has provided free oxygen cylinders and high-flow meters for corona patients at Jibannagar Upazila Health Complex in Chuadanga district.

At 12 noon on Saturday, the president of the association Mirza Ashiq Rana handed over 5 oxygen cylinders and a high-flow meter to Jibannagar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Selina Akhter.

Jivannagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ariful Islam, Upazila (Land) Officer Md Mohiuddin, Network Secretary of Australia Alumni Association Hafiz Hasan Sohag, member of the Association Ishrat Arefin, Medical Officer of Upazila Health Complex Dr. Nipa and other officials attended the programme.

Mirza Ashiq Rana, president of the Australia Alumni Association, said that the south-western part of the country has suffered a major blow due to Covid-19. That is why we have chosen the backward border Jibannagar upazila. Our small efforts will continue nationwide.

Jibannagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ariful Islam said the gift given by the Australia Alumni Association would further accelerate the supply of oxygen to Corona patients in Jibannagar Upazila.
