Jhenidah district unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Awami League, arranged a blood donation programme at Institute of Health Technology (IHT) on Monday.
The blood donation was aimed as a countrywide programme of the student organisation to stand by the dengue affected people.
BCL’s district unit president Rana Hamid inaugurated the three-day blood donation programme. A total of 20 leaders and activists of the BCL had donated blood on the first day. Later, the blood bags were handed over to Jhenidah blood bank.
